This Photography Series at the V&A Museum Will Amaze You

We share the most powerful images from the archives of one iconic travel photographer, courtesy of the V&A’s latest exhibition in London.

A tribute to one of the pioneers of modern-day photography, the first exhibition in 40 years to display works from American artist Paul Strand has finally opened its doors in the UK. From his beginnings in New York in the early 20^th century to his tours of France later in life, Strand’s travel photography spans destinations the world over. Offering rare insight into the societies of years gone by, come and enjoy a stroll back in time with these stark, moving shots.
